Taiwan reported zero confirmed cases of COVID-19 again!
The Grand Hotel Taipei on Tuesday (April 14) illuminated 57 rooms out of 503 rooms to form the word "zero” to spark the night of the city and the heart of people all over the world at this extremely difficult and challenging time.
Known as the landmark in Taipei City, The Grand Hotel carries memories of all the citizens in Taiwan.
Following Taiwan’s report of zero confirmed cases again after 36 days, a big “ZERO” ingeniously lit up at the front of The Grand Hotel Taipei in the evening as an inspiration to people in this country and around the globe after all that perspiration.
It is a huge relief and quite an achievement to see that Taiwan had zero coronavirus cases on April 14! Having brought the number down to zero was no easy task but continued vigilance is essential.
Showing the word “zero” on the face of The Grand Hotel was our way of showing the support for all of the heroes on the frontline combating the pandemic.
With that done, we will always stay together to keep on with the hard work to fight against the epidemic. The Grand Hotel Taipei will always be here with you.
